Le azioni di Mitochon e i principi attivi più efficaci contro il danno ossidativo

ACTIONS OF MITOCHON AND THE MOST EFFECTIVE ACTIVE INGREDIENTS AGAINST OXIDATIVE DAMAGE

MITOCHON has focused its scientific research on the role of the mitochondria in the processes of skin aging, studying this process and selecting the most effective active ingredients for a profound action on the mechanisms underlying mitochondrial degradation and aging (mitochondrial lipid peroxidation, oxidative stress, protein degeneration).3

In particular, the actions of MITOCHON cosmetics are:

PROTECTION OF MITOCHONDRIAL DNA

FOLIC ACID

This substance is involved in supporting all the mechanisms of successful cell replication, (this is where the protective action on mitochondrial DNA manifests itself). It also has an antioxidant activity.

COUNTERACTS MITOCHONDRIAL LIPID PEROXIDATION

GLUTATHIONE

Glutathione allows the transport of thiol groups (sulfur + hydrogen) within the mitochondrion and therefore, through chemical processes, the elimination of radical species by limiting lipid peroxidation. Furthermore, Glutathione has a strong antioxidant action.

SOLAR FILTERS

The chemical and physical sunscreens provide protection from UV rays, which are among the factors that further accelerate the production of free radicals at the mitochondrial and then cellular level, and therefore slow down the degenerative process of mitochondrial peroxidation.

ANTIOXIDANT ACTION

COENZYME Q10, GLUTATHIONE, , FOLIC ACID AND VITAMIN C

These substances, with their powerful antioxidant activity, act by improving the physiological systems of neutralization of free radicals. In particular, vitamin C, in addition to having a high antioxidant power, contributes to the formation of collagen.

PROTEIN DEGENERATION

ANTIOXIDANT FACTORS (COENZYME Q10, GLUTATHIONE AND VITAMIN C),
N-ACETYL-GLUCOSAMINE

Protein degeneration is one of the factors that most results in visible skin aging. Countering this is essential. The presence of antioxidant factors limits this process, but it is not sufficient to act only at the enzymatic level. In fact, the overexpression of enzymes such as Collagenase, which are attributable to the action of UVB, leads to an extensive breakdown of protein, and of collagen specifically.

N-Acetyl Glucosamine, which is the natural precursor of hyaluronic acid and therefore promotes its synthesis, also has an enzymatic inhibiting action, especially of Collagenase.
Vitamin C, in addition to having a well-known antioxidant activity, contributes to the normal formation of collagen.

Mitochon prodotti cosmetici

It is important to take care of the deep-down youthfulness of the skin from the inside too: the MITOFAST supplement, with its buccal formulation (dissolves directly in the mouth) and thanks to its P.AS.S technology, allows you to integrate with, and support, the cosmetic line, for a complete and effective beauty routine.

ANTIOXIDANT ACTION:

RESVERATROL

Resveratrol, a substance naturally produced by various plants, is recognized for the efficacy of its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory characteristics and plays an important role in the regulation processes of the cell cycle and in DNA repair. Generally, however, Resveratrol is poorly absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract. To overcome this, MITOCHON has created the patented P.AS.S. technology which, thanks to absorption via the oral mucosa, avoids this inactivation.

COENZYME Q10

This substance is one of the most important antioxidant molecules produced by our bodies that is capable of antagonizing free radicals.
Unfortunately, many Coenzyme Q10-based supplements are minimally absorbed and therefore have a modest antioxidant effect, while the granular formulation perfected by MITOCHON allows for rapid and high absorption through the oral mucosa.

COUNTERACTING MITOCHONDRIAL PEROXIDATION

N-ACETYL CYSTEINE (NAC)

NAC is very important for replenishing the natural reserves of Glutathione and, like the latter, it is a molecule with strong antioxidant action, which allows the transport of thiol groups within the mitochondrion and therefore, through chemical processes, eliminates the radical species and limits mitochondrial peroxidation.

FORMATION OF HYALURONIC ACID

N-ACETYL GLUCOSAMINE (NAG)

NAG is the natural precursor of hyaluronic acid and stimulates its endogenous production. This formulation choice was considered by MITOCHON to be the most rational in light of the scientific literature that supports its greater absorption compared to hyaluronic acid.

FORMATION OF COLLAGEN

VITAMIN C

Vitamin C has a well-known antioxidant and restructuring potential (collagen synthesis).

PROTECTION OF MITOCHONDRIAL DNA

FOLIC ACID

This substance is involved in supporting all the mechanisms of successful cell replication (this is where the protective action on mitochondrial DNA manifests itself). It also has an antioxidant activity.

Mitochon Mitofast
